Forty-nine cultured freshwater pearls define this layered necklace, with white and black color contrast across semi-round forms measuring 6 to 10 mm. Arranged in multiple strands, the 49-piece pearl composition creates the necklace’s central visual focus. The pearls are treated with dyeing and bleaching. Their range of sizes brings smaller and larger pearl measurements together within the layered design.
A polished 925 sterling silver cable chain supports the design and has rhodium plating in a silver tone. The chain measures 17 inches and includes a 2-inch extender, bringing the overall length to 19 inches. A lobster clasp secures the necklace, which has a stated width of 9 mm. The cable chain is 2.21 mm wide, and the necklace weighs 7.82 gm.
